Whoot Whoot Whoot!

SO! You might already have seen this beanie, since I posted a picture to facebook and to twitter and because I showed it on Youtube. However I now gave it to a very dear friend of mine who is very happy about it:
So here you go, the patternto the TARDIS-beanie. Before you start, please note that these instructions are conditioned to 3mm yarn and 5mm hook, if you are using bigger yarn and hook, remove one row of the top for each size above. (ex: If you use yarn and hook in 5mm, remove 2r: only crochet up to "Do 1sc in 14sc, 2sc in 1sc for 1r.")
What you need: - 1x TARDIS-blue wool (3-4)
- 1x white wool (3-4)
- 1x black wool (3-4)
- 1x crochet hook (3/4)
- 1x scissors
- 1x either cardboard loops or plastic, if you have, to make pompoms!

STEP 1 – TOP OF HAT
BLUE
Create a circle with 6sc.
Do 2sc in 1sc for 1r.
Do 1sc in 1sc, 2sc in 1sc for 1r.
Do 1sc in 2sc, 2sc in 1sc for 1r.
Do 1sc in 3sc, 2sc in 1sc for 1r.
Do 1sc in 4sc, 2sc in 1sc for 1r.
Do 1sc in 5sc, 2sc in 1sc for 1r.
Do 1sc in 6sc, 2sc in 1sc for 1r.
Do 1sc in 7sc, 2sc in 1sc for 1r.
Do 1sc in 8sc, 2sc in 1sc for 1r.
Do 1sc in 9sc, 2sc in 1sc for 1r.
Do 1sc in 10sc, 2sc in 1sc for 1r.
Do 1sc in 11sc, 2sc in 1sc for 1r.
Do 1sc in 12sc, 2sc in 1sc for 1r.
Do 1sc in 13sc, 2sc in 1sc for 1r.
Do 1sc in 14sc, 2sc in 1sc for 1r.
Do 1sc in 15sc, 2sc in 1sc for 1r.
Do 1sc in 16sc, 2sc in 1sc for 1r.
Do 1sc in 1sc or 1r.

STEP 2 – FRAMING
BLACK
Do 1sc in 1sc for 4r.
BLUE
Do 1sc in 1sc for 1r.
WHITE
Do 1sc in 1sc for 10r.
BLUE
Do 1sc in 1sc for 2r.

STEP 3 – FINITIES
Sew on the window frames with the black yarn and the “POLICE BOX”- sign.
Create a half white, half blue pompom.
Sew it to the top of the beanie.

EDIT:
Lea accepted to leave her prize to whomever would be the next person to like/retweet. It turned out to be my friend Xavier. If you look at the Navi-pattern, there is a picture of Navi and two pokeballs, a normal one and an Irish-colored one. The Irish-colored one went to Xavier back then.
This means that Xavier couldn't get a second Pokeball either. He got to choose between a Totoro or a Buzz Blob. He chose the Totoro:

Want a ride?

Here comes the pattern for Yoshi's Egg. You need one so you can get your hands on a little green dinosaur to carry you to wherever you want to go.



What you need:
-          1x green wool (4-5)
-          1x white wool (4-5)
-          1x crochet hook (H/5)
-          1x stuffing
-          1x needle
-          1x green yarn
-          1x scissors

STEP 1 – EGG
WHITE
Create a circle with 6sc.
Do 2sc in 1sc for 1r.
Do 1sc in 1sc for 2r.
Do 1sc in 1sc, 2sc in 1sc for 1r.
Do 1sc in 1sc for 1r.
Do 1sc in 2sc, 2sc in 1sc for 1r.
Do 1sc in 1sc for 1r.
Do 1sc in 3sc, 2sc in 1sc for 1r.
Do 1sc in 1sc for 4r.
Do 1sc in 3sc, crochet 4th and 5th tgt for 1r.
Do 1sc in 2sc, crochet 3rd and 4th tgt for 1r.
Do 1sc in 1sc, crochet 2nd and 3rd tgt for 1r.
Crochet 1st and 2nd tgt for 1r.
Finish off.

STEP 2 – SPOTS
GREEN
[Create a circle with 6sc.
Do 2sc in 1sc for 1r.
Finish off.]
Repeat to have 4-5 pieces.
Sew them on.
Hide strings inside.
